DAY 01: HANOI – HA GIANG CITY ( LUNCH + DINNER)

06:30 Limousine bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter  area or directly from Noi Bai International Airport. Settle in for a scenic drive north toward Ha Giang Province.

10:30  Short break in Tuyen Quang City, a peaceful town nestled along the Lo River. Take time to stretch, grab a coffee or local snack.

13:00  Arrival in Ha Giang City, the gateway to the breathtaking mountainous landscapes of northern Vietnam. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant where you can taste regional specialties.

After lunch, check in to your hotel/ Homestay ( Palm Hill Chalet – Ban Tuy Tay Village ) and take a short rest before your afternoon exploration.

14:30 Your guide will meet you at the hotel/ Homestay ( Palm Hill Chalet – Ban Tuy Tay Village ) and begin a guided tour of Ha Giang’s highlights:

  • Km0 Square – A symbolic starting point of the Ha Giang Loop, this square marks the beginning of your journey into Vietnam’s northernmost highlands.
  • Mount Cam (Núi Cấm) – A panoramic viewpoint overlooking the city, ideal for photos and taking in the surrounding hills and forests.
  • Thanh Thuy Border Gate – Visit the border area between Vietnam and China, a unique chance to learn about cross-border culture and trade.
  • Thôn Tha & Ha Thanh Villages – Peaceful ethnic Tay villages nestled among terraced rice fields. Wander through stilt houses, bamboo groves, and chat with friendly locals going about their daily life.

19:00 – Enjoy a traditional dinner at a local restaurant/ Homestay ( Palm Hill Chalet – Ban Tuy Tay Village ). The evening is yours to relax at the hotel/ Homestay or explore Ha Giang City at your leisure.

DAY 2: HA GIANG CITY – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN TOWN ( B + L + D)

07:00 Breakfast is served at your hotel/ Homestay ( Palm Hill Chalet – Ban Tuy Tay Village ) Check out and prepare for an unforgettable journey through some of Vietnam’s most dramatic landscapes.

07:30 Depart by car/jeep/ Motorbike, accompanied by your local guide. Begin your adventure along the famous Ha Giang Loop:

  • Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate The first major viewpoint of the loop. From here, gaze over the “Twin Mountains” (Fairy Bosom) and the Tam Son Valley wrapped in mist.
  • Can Ty Pass A winding mountain pass offering fantastic views of deep valleys and limestone peaks.
  • Tham Ma Pass – A steep and scenic road used historically to test the strength of horses. Today, it’s a favorite photo stop thanks to its winding curves and vast views.
  • Sung La Valley & Lung Cam Village A tranquil area dotted with traditional Hmong houses, peach orchards, and buckwheat flower fields. Lung Cam was also a filming location for Vietnamese cinema.

12:30 – Arrive in Yen Minh Town for lunch. Take a break before continuing deeper into the mountains.

Afternoon highlights include:

  • Hmong King’s Palace (Dinh Vua Meo)  Explore this beautifully preserved fortress that once housed the powerful Vuong family, leaders of the local Hmong people during the French colonial era.
  • Lung Cu Flag Tower Climb to the northernmost point of Vietnam and enjoy sweeping views of China across the border. A large Vietnamese flag proudly waves over the landscape.
  • Lo Lo Chai Village A colorful village inhabited by the Lo Lo ethnic group, known for their vibrant clothing and traditional houses made of clay and stone.

16:30 Arrive in Dong Van Town and check into your hotel or local homestay. Rest and prepare for the evening.

19:00 Enjoy a delicious dinner in Dong Van Old Quarter, a charming area with old stone houses and lantern-lit streets. After dinner, take a gentle walk through the town to soak in its quiet mountain atmosphere.

DAY 3: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG PASS – MEO VAC – HA GIANG – HANOI ( B + L)

07:00 Start your day with breakfast at the local market. Savor freshly brewed coffee while watching the early morning bustle of ethnic vendors setting up their stalls.

After breakfast, head toward Meo Vac via one of the most scenic routes in Southeast Asia:

  • Ma Pi Leng Pass An iconic mountain pass carved along sheer cliffs, offering jaw-dropping views of the Nho Que River far below. Often called the “King of Vietnam’s mountain passes,” it’s a must-see for nature lovers and photographers.
  • Nho Que River Admire the emerald green waters as they carve through deep gorges. You can opt for a short boat ride for a unique view from the water.
  • Meo Vac Town  A quiet town surrounded by mountains, known for its vibrant Sunday market and cultural diversity.
  • M-shaped Curve  A famous serpentine bend in the road, popular among photographers for its dramatic shape and the panoramic valley backdrop.

13:00 – Enjoy a local lunch in Yen Minh, then begin the return journey to Ha Giang City.

15h30: Arrive Ha Giang city at Homestay ( Palm Hill Chalet – Ban Tuy Tay Village ). And waiting for the bus pick up come back Ha Noi:

  • + OPT 1: 16h00 – Limousine bus –  22h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.
  • OPT 2:  21h00 – Sleeping bus – 04h00. Arrive in Ha Noi.
  • The trip finish. Thanks you and see you again!
